A love story between the Sun and the Earth

Mother Earth fell in love with the sun. He was the biggest and brightest star, the center of the universe. He was also distant from her, completely out of her reach. “He will never notice me”, she thought. She was just another planet on his orbit. But his light was so bright that even from a far, it touched her skin. His warmth was so extensive that warmed up her heart. His radiance was so captivating that made her happy. Under his presence she thrived, blossomed, and flourished. He brought her to life; he made her feel beautiful and confident. Near him, she was the best that she could be.

Likewise the sun fell in love with the Earth. She was the most beautiful planet in his orbit. The only one that carried life. He nurtured all the planets around him, gave them love, but only Earth fed from his love and prospered. She was his amazing creation. The more he gave her, the more she blossomed. She gave him a reason to keep shining. In her presence he felt needed, powerful and fulfilled. But she was so far away from him. “Does she know how much I love her?” He wondered.

Sun and Earth never spoke to each other. Never got to know one another. In fact, they knew nothing but the obvious. He was the largest star, and she was the blue planet. Each one in their space, nurturing a love that kept growing in silence.

She never truly knew who he was, but she was in love with him because of how he made her feel.
